2020 National Youth Cup

Tasmania’s campaign for the 2020 National Youth Championships off to a great start.

The National Youth Cup was held over the weekend with our WA Draft Callum Borck winning the event. Callum was placed 3rd after the 12 game qualifying section and then moved away from the field with 7 x 200 games in the matchplay final to win easily by 169 pins with a 211 tournament average.

Sarah Pennicott finished qualifying in 12th place and after matchplay remained in 12th place with a 178 average.

The National Youth Teams Challenge starts tomorrow and good luck to the Tasmanian team :- Liam George, Callum Borck, Matthew Purser, Bevan Brooke, Sarah Pennicott, Bridget Perkins, Emily Bottomley & Samantha Bramley. Coach – Hayden George. Manager – Angela George.
